Collaboration

Produced for the first ever Vine Symposium at Te Mania and Richmond Plains Wineries, September 2011. In conjunction with the Biggest Grapevine Rugby Ball and the World Cup Rugby Competition.

“Collaboration” brings together all recycled materials, More than 500 bottles at approx 300kg, hundreds of grape prunnings to form a 35 metre carpet  of 250kg that has then been rolled around a recycled Oak Barrel ( 20kg) giving a total weight of approx 580kg.

Its inspiration comes from the entire wine making process from Vine to bottle.

It sits 2 mtrs high and 2 mtrs wide with a depth of about 1.6 mtrs.
